Our History


T&L Marquee hire is a family run business that was formed in 2000 as a diversification from a small agricultural enterprise. Tim & Louise Byrne, Co-founders, recognised a gap in the market for an all-round high quality marquee and event equipment hire company, offering a range of marquees and furnishings from stock.

In 2004, after graduating from Harper Adams with a BSc in Engineering Joe Byrne, son of Tim and Louise joined the business full time. A keen eye for detail, comprehensive technical knowledge and a “can do” attitude has helped Joe win many prestigious contracts, build lasting relationships with a number of corporate clients and supply marquees and furnishings to many weddings and private parties.


Today with an impressive portfolio of events and a dedicated experienced team T&L have established themselves as the preferred supplier to some of the most prestigious venues, private town and country properties and high profile corporate clients throughout central England.

Apportioning the same level of importance as our customers to each individual event means T&L naturally work with you to provide the right solution, our recommendations can help with the layout and interior design of your marquee as well as the facilities required to successfully host your event.
